Hi there,

I've been involved with a group that is trying to organize a weekly meet of car enthusiasts modeled after a meet in California.

We meet on Sunday mornings from 7:30 am to 9 am. (I know--early). Just show up when you want and leave when you want, people are always coming and going. We are meeting at Barriques on PD (McKee). It's located in a strip of shops about 1/2 mile east of Verona Road where Fitch's restaurant used to be and it has a lot of good parking. Also the entrance in is really low and you don't have to worry about scraping the front end of your car.

This is a pretty informal meet. In the past we tried to schedule specific dates and then it'd rain or if something would come up you might be out of luck for 3 months. We decided to schedule a weekly time and place and whoever can make it, does. We may get 5 cars one week and 25 the next--that'll be part of the fun, seeing what and who shows up.

We'd love to have fellow car enthusiasts join us to show their cars and talk smart (and drink some coffee).
