In its 6th year, the Black Earth car show held at the New Heights Lutheran Church had about 35 total Auto's and Bikes show up. A smaller crowd then years past but a fun crowd regardless.

Parking Location Smaller lot hurts the size this show can get too
Class Organization No classes, just catagories.
Trophies & Prizes Great Trophy's this year, very cool
Food Average Brats and Hot Dogs, Soda
Entertainment Just a radio at the tent
Judging Judging done by anyone who showed up
Dash Plaque None
Variety of Cars Pretty good variety, would have hoped for more Tuners, out of towners
Bathrooms Inside the church, clean nice
Weather Great weather but a little too hot on the black top
Trophy Presentation Timing Speed up because of coming rain
Entry Fee Free wins all the time.

OVERALL THOUGHTS

This is a hometown show in a way for me so I am biased. The lot is a little small but this show never has gotten enough autos to fill it up. Not a lot of people volunteer to help so it works being this small. Trophy's where awesome this year, very large, very nice.

Sounds like a nice, small, no-pressure show. Sometimes these shows bring out the most fun for an afternoon! I know one of my customers asked me to come down, but I told him I was already confirmed for Sun Prairie, otherwise I could've shot straight up Cty F for the afternoon.

BTW, do you know who had that '70 charger in the pic?
