Always like going out to this show! Mopars everywhere and a great drive out.
Show is part. judged and i would like to see this changed. Other then that i cant say enough about the show. Great classes and nice to see just mopars.
Not happy about best of show award given to club member. Nice car but still looks bad.
It appeared even the 3rd place trophy was over a foot tall
Food
I've had better at this show before...
Entertainment
Eh, same DJ playing the same doo-wop year after year. I think I'll invest in an iPod for next years show...
Judging
Participant judging
Dash Plaque
and it even had a cool car on it this year!
Variety of Cars
Plenty of Mopars, but they also have an all-makes class for stock and modified
Bathrooms
One porta potty was "Out of Order" because it was plugged. Things that make you go Hmm....
Weather
Couldn't have had a better weekend for shows!
Trophy Presentation Timing
They were a little behind as usual, but they did a good job of keeping it moving
Entry Fee
$10
This was overall a pretty good show, it was a great day to be outside and there were plenty of awesome cars to see everywhere.
I only have a few recommendations:
-I don't really want to hear the lazy cub scouts getting yelled at by there parents when I'm buying lunch from them. I hear yelling 40+ hours a week, and Sundays are a no-yelling day.
-More porta-potties are needed, especially if someone is going to clog one up. Don't ask me how it was done, but it was closed off to the public and had and Out of Order sign on it. You are legendary in my book to accomplish this, I mean, who clogs a PP?!
-I know there is a lot of classes at this show, but I would recommend to find a better way to get the votes tallied up so the awards are on time. This has been an issue since I started attending this show in '03. I did like how they did the 50/50 and other raffles before the awards. They also gave out the Best of's before the class awards which was different.
There were kids going around selling Schwan's Ice Cream bars for a buck, and they were delicious!!!
Best of Show stock went to a yellow 70 AAR Cuda. Nonetheless a very nice car, but my pick was the white 71 Challenger that was a fully loaded 318 car still sporting the whitewalls and hubcaps!!
Congrats to Cuda Man and DDHemi on the wins with the 'Cudas today!!
Being the true-to-heart Mopar guy that I am, I'll be back next year!!!
Plugging up the portables? Now that's a new one! :)
If you notice, ddhemi didn't comment on the bathroom situation. I'm pretty sure I saw him go in that porta potty earlier in the day with a Mopar magazine. He must have had some of that fine Boy Scout food! :)
If it wasn't so far away, I'd pitch my DJ service to them. I wonder how 3D Sound does it? Bad food at a car show is a problem. I mean, how can you screw up a dog or a burger? I've been to some where the "meat" was swimming in a Nesco, and never saw a grill. The only dogs that should be boiled are Chicago Style Dogs because those are all about the condiments anyway.
You just gave me a great idea. Thanks for the post, it's really helpful.

Being ddhemi's former roommate, well, lets just say its a good thing he went into the plumbing trade!
Ok ok, so what if it was. Those burgers were terrible!
