Been to all 6, largest by far of all shows I have been to. Must have been atleast 30 cars in my class, never thought I would have a chance to win, so left early to get out easier. I was told later that I ended up getting 2nd, that seems to be the way it goes the only show I don't stay for awards and the only one I would have one. It was a beutiful day with graet cars anyway, I will always go back.

This was a wonderful show and was one of the better shows I attended this year. It was primarily church supported with alot of community support as well. I met Vicki one of the main organizers of this show at the Blanchard-ville Char Show and promised I would attend. I am glade I did it was a great time. There was so many Volunteers working their tail off to give us a perfect experience and that they did. What impressed me the most was I did not see any of the volunteers grumbling. Nice show!
This show is the biggest judged show all year! One of my new favs for sure. Very very very well ran. tHE JUDGES HAD SO MANY CARS TO JUDGE THIS YEAR AND I KNOW HOW HARD IT WAS BECAUSEI JUDGED LAST YEAR!
Best trophies of the year!
My hats off to you guys. Good job to all those that put on the show! Ill be back next year for sure.
Overall good, but as this show grows they will need to get more classes.

Overall a great show. Plenty of cars and trucks, and a lot of hardwork is put into this. Wouldn't want to be a judge at this one, too much competition to have to be judge and jury on!!!
Congrats to MMRJR, circletrack, Eclipse_Tuner, and DDHemi on there win's!
For American-made cars it's great, not so for others.
Bathrooms
Okay.
Weather
Nice day.
Trophy Presentation Timing
Getting pretty long-winded.
Entry Fee
Fine; customary.
This show is a fundraiser for a Christian organization that sends missionaries overseas. We have been to it the past three years, first as a spectator and the past two as a judged entrant. We had two very nice experiences and this year quite a bad one. We have watched the show grow exponentially--to 526 cars this year. This is one of the problems I would point out—it has become large quickly and clearly hard to manage. We came to this show because it listed a class for Import Cars, 1900-1990. Last year the show people were friendly and helpful, and things went smoothly from the time we arrived. This year, with two exceptions, show people were short and unfriendly from the time we arrived.
When we pulled up we were asked if the car was stock and we were put in the wrong class. When we noticed the problem and asked to be put in the right class we were repeatedly questioned as to why we were in the wrong class in the first place. Our car ended up being judged partially by two judges (in part because a different judge who was about to look over our car needed to leave the show, and according to an organizer, it was hard to find a replacement). The first judge studied underneath the car, and the second judge did not read the information on the windshield, including the show’s placard. When we had inquired nicely, one time, late in the judging period as to when our car would be judged, an organizer was defensive and rude.
Alone, these things would not have mattered and could have been regarded as just things that can happen. But as the trophies were being awarded, we heard a car announced that was sixteen years too new to be in the class. I immediately made my way to the back of the awards area and spoke to the organizer (the same person with whom I had spoken about getting into the right class, he is also the person I was referred to regarding when/if our car would be judged). I calmly and nicely said that a car had been announced that was the wrong year to have been in the class, but from the moment I mentioned this it was clear he did not want to deal with it. Among the things this organizer said was that I should have come up earlier to tell him, and when I tried to tell him that is just what I had done he interrupted me and asked me if I wanted my money back, and continued to interrupt/talk over me each time I attempted to speak. He made excuses for how it happened and why he was not intending to do something to fix it. At one point he looked at his score sheet and it was clear that the next car in the order was also several years too new to be in the class. Among the other things he suggested was: that I shouldn’t make so much of this, that the import class is something they started because people were asking for it and that it’s difficult to manage; he also repeated himself, kept moving away from me as I tried to talk with him, and very angrily said I shouldn’t have seen the sheet with the order of cars because it was personal information (but he basically showed it to me) and very importantly, he never acknowledged the mistakes nor offered any apology for them.
One of the Pastors, at the beginning of the awards presentation had said a prayer that included a mention of how much talent and time is put into the cars. Our time and energy was not acknowledged by this organizer and further, I was criticized for caring too much because I wanted the awards to be given to cars that belonged in the class. One final comment: judged shows are subjective, there is no way of eliminating it and “beauty” is always, and should be, “in the eye of the beholder”. But at a judged show, especially one that emphasizes trophies, there should be consistent standards applied to evaluating cars. Theatrical props, for example, are not part of a car, and should not affect the points awarded for the overall quality of a judged car presented at a show.
I rolled in at about 7:15 with 5 other cars. Plenty of big signs to direct you to the show. Plenty of folks to get you parked. I had to head home at 11AM, but the short time I was there I enjoyed! My only suggestion would be to have some more trash can throughout the park.
I came in shortly after 8:00 with 7 others stayed till the end and I had a great time. I think they did a wonderful job. Food was good everyone was friendly.
That's a good idea for large shows - it would really help speed things along if you're just thirsty but don't want to order a meal.

One of the reoccurring issues we've seen this season is quality of judging, especially at larger shows. I'm glad to hear from the reviews that these guys did it right judging even with the huge number of cars - that is an impressive feat!
It was a great show, aside from a few minor hiccups in judging and class organization.
The only big big big suggestion is this: In a show that is this large, trailered classes are an absolute must!! I counted 17 trailers when I left (not including the ones for the race cars).
I love watching car show actually. And so nice to know that Pardeeville Car Show 2009 showed the User reviews. Through this they could reach the feedback of the users. Great one!
I've asked Vickie this question... keep in mind they also have race cars and tractors at this show. Some of those trailers *could* have been for those.
Great car show. I liked it so much. Some of the cars are very unique! I also found a video of the interview with the organizers at http://www.torrentbasket.com" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"> Basket SE I am sure you'll enjoy watching it. Thanks!
