Specific Comments (optional)

Parking Location Plenty of it, whether you use the fairground lots or the many home owners offering yard space
Class Organization Signs point to spot you go to but I seen a lot of mix-matched parking
Trophies & Prizes None given...nice.
Food Blechhh
Entertainment DJ Donny Kasper. Doesn't flap his mouth.
Judging None
Dash Plaque Got one, pic of Impala on it....featured car
Variety of Cars Everything from Subaru 360s to a very nice 59 Imperial
Bathrooms At the buildings, Didn't need it
Weather Partly sunny, cool, windy. Cold and clouds moved in near the end of the afternoon, rain
Trophy Presentation Timing None
Entry Fee Cheap, 6 per person in car

Haven't been to this one for a while and I decided to go and perhaps sell some of my art. Although the flier said 80 and older, I drove in and gave it a shot. My 2007 HHR Panel was let in and I saw a bunch of other cars a lot newer than mine. Since the HHR is a truck, I got a shady spot near the center of everything. I was within spitting distance of the DJ, so sound issues are not a problem for me. I don't see why they don't provide a cherry picker like they do for 3D Sound. That is an excellent way to get sound out and not worry about what people do to speakers out of the DJs vision. Food is nasty with a capitol N-A-S-TEE. I was smelling some good grille smells but obviously it wasn't coming from the food vendors near me. Kent's Big bars are good, but you can't eat ice cream only. Saw some friends I ain't seen in a while and even though I made no money, I really enjoyed the day. The featured model was Impala and there was a nice selection of them to see. One lonely 61 Biscayne was amongst them to give one some perspective of the difference. My faves were the 65 Marlin, stock Vega, the two Subaru 360s in the corral, the diesel powered 48 Chevy pickup, 59 Imperial, Pacer, MGB, Spitfire, Fiat 850, a black and green El Camino, 63 Buick hearse, 68 Wildcat.

Class Organization They dropped the imports section.....boo....
Trophies & Prizes Door prizes; I won a bottle of Wizard detail spray
Food Aggree with the other poster, burgers and brats are blah .....
Entertainment DJ, you could hear if you were within 100 feet
Judging none
Dash Plaque got one
Variety of Cars lots and lots of drivers and a handful of "show cars"; by 11AM they were looking for spots to stick the cars.
Bathrooms plenty
Weather nice temps
Entry Fee 6 bucks

The number of cars for sale seemed to be down a bit. The far lot that typically has +75 cars in it was basically empty (maybe more are spending their 50 bucks on an Ebay ad....).

Plenty of junk for sale and a few new national vendors were there too.

Specific Comments (optional)

Parking Location grass/blacktop
Class Organization broke up by makes but over flowed
Trophies & Prizes N/A
Food Wish they would get more choices Been the same for years. Big Bars are a MUST
Entertainment DJ cant be heard unless you are in the main grass area
Judging N/A makes for a relaxing day more people willing to chat since no egos are offended
Dash Plaque As nice as always
Variety of Cars Always a ton of cars. Show overflowed
Bathrooms indoor outdoor hardly any waiting
Weather Absulutly perfect(something not seen at Jefferson in awhile) left at 1pm so I dont know if it rained later.
Trophy Presentation Timing No Trophies YAHOO
Entry Fee 6 bucks per person in car.

The weather was nice for a change. Cars galore. Did not go to swap. Surprised at the amount of new cars on the show grounds but they are ok too. They really need better chow.Food is the big weakness at the show. BBQ sucks, Hot dogs suck burgers are gross. Thank goodness for Kents Big Bars. If you have not tried one you're missing something great.

Wow, doesn't sound like I missed anything by not going. In years past, I used to look forward to Jefferson in the spring. Nowdays I don't really care if go again or not. Its nice to walk around and check out the handful of good cars for sale in the corral, but the last few years I went I saw a lot of junk both in the corral and in the swap meet (nothing against used parts or the people that sell them).

I think Ryan is right, why drive your car to Jefferson and pay when you can put it on eBay for less than that?

Jefferson brings allot of cars, people and swap meet stuff together. The food has never been anything great. Weather this past weekend turned out much better than expected for the most part.
