The show featured pre-1965 traditional hot rods and custom cars. 258 cars registered for the two day event. Despite the liquid sunshine on Friday about 15 motorcycles made the trip.
Rain plagued Friday's opening show (3") but about 90 cars braved the elements and were in attendance. The music started in the dancehall at 2PM giving everyone a chance to drink a little beer and get under cover. The show grounds offered many buildings where you could escape the moisture and still stay entertained... everyone was either a historic display or was filled with collectibles.
Saturday the weather turned a little drier and the promoters announced 3,000 people were on the grounds. The mini-bike drags offered a little diversion from the regular show and the roller derby girls did a great job of keeping everyone laughing while running the dunk tank. Again some great bands played the show and the music lasted until 11PM...with several parties in the campground lasting long into the night.
