I'm going to be honest here:

1. This is one of the best shows I attend. A lot of effort goes into making it so great, people who attend should never forget others volunteer to judge, sell concessions, park cars, etc.

2. If this show continues to grow, they will need to find a larger location.

3. No one should be saving parking spots for friends or club members. DDHemi and I left at 5:30 Saturday morning to go to Pardeeville, and got there shortly after 7am, I always like to park back by the beach and to be able to do this I have to make a long day of this event. With the amount of cars, saving spots is uncalled for as the show staff has to keep things moving. I suggest if a group wants to park together, they arrive together and the staff will gladly park you together :)

4. Captain Bob and Arlo gotta keep that awards presentation moving. Folks have been there all day and by 4pm they are ready to call it a day.

5. If you are a smoker, you should quit. If you are not strong enough mentally to quit, go smoke away from a large crowd of people watching the awards ceremony, I suggest out in the middle of traffic on a busy highway.

6. If you don't win an award at this show, you shouldn't pout. The judging is tough, and the quality of workmanship is very high.

7. If I never see another new Dodge Challenger or new Ford Mustang at a show ever again, it won't be long enough. How does a judge(s) judge brand new/late model stock vehicles? Surprisingly i can count the number of 5th gen Camaros I saw on one hand, but I'm tired of seeing those too. Call me old fashioned, but I like the classics. In 30 years those cars will have there place.

8. I purposely avoided all faith based conversations, prayer sessions, or discussions today. Read my past reviews of this show if you want more insight.

Overall a great show, and I'm happy to be a part of this event. The weather definitely played a part in the turnout and attendance yesterday.

See you next year!

Specific Comments (optional)

Parking Location
Got down by the beach where I wanted to be, but there should not be others saving spots for those who aren't there yet.
Class Organization
Lots of classes, something for everyone.
Trophies & Prizes
Always nice awards that are very large.
Food
Loved the addition of grilled cheese sandwiches!
Entertainment
WI hot rod radio... I didn't mind the selection of music, but these guys talk too much during awards.
Judging
Glad I didn't have that job.
Dash Plaque
Got one!
Variety of Cars
Something for everyone!
Bathrooms
Need more porta's around the park!
Weather
Perfect
Trophy Presentation Timing
On time, but takes forever because of all the classes.
Entry Fee
$10 is pretty fair for a show like this.
We were on our way at 6 am and arrived about 7:30 am. When we drove into the park there were probably 400 hundred cars already parked. We motored to the far side of the park and met up with about a dozen BC club members. Thanks for holding us a spot and directing us to it. As always a pleasure to see you guys.

Because we were going show only, the car prep time was only a fraction of what it would normally be. It was great to watch others detailing there cars from our chairs in a nice shady spot . I kinda like this spectator thing.

About 10 am we started making the rounds to see the cars and some old friends. Nice to talk with Russ with his blown 69 Camaro who made the 200+ mile run and numerous other car owners who regularly attend this show. Many I only get to talk to once a year at this show.

This was our eight time to this show and as always the best show in Wisconsin this summer. Just the size alone is impressive. Add in a super nice park setting, the finest assortment of quality vehicles from numerous states & a great crew of volunteers to run it. Just coordinating the 150+ volunteers has to be a challenge. My hats of to Vicki and all who are involved, you should be very proud to be associated with this amazing show. Look what this show has become over the years. Well done.

Saw some old friends, some I hadn't seen for a while, and made some new ones to. Talked to a lot of car people on a gorgeous Wisconsin summer day. That's what it's all about for me. We had a good time. Hope to see you at a car show soon.
