before anyone starts calling anyone a scumbag, douche or whatever.....look into the facts...i have proof...in writing...i have paperwork to prove that jim caudle does NOT have cancer, and NEVER did
i am not related to lance peterson, i do not even live in dane county.....im not vindictive on jim for any reason, i have no reason to make this up...i know its hard to believe, it was very hard for me.....he does have something,it is not right for me to disclose that to any of you...but it is not cancer, the sad part is he blew all the money on himself, and like i said...before u start hating on me n writing nasty comments....have a serious look into the truth. i would not be writing this just to defame anyone and risk getting sued or going to jail.....if u only knew how deep all this deception ran, u would die, as i read the benefit deal, im amazed at how many people came tgether to put this together.....it mustve been a great benefit.....im really angry that you guys have all been deceived...when i sit and think of all the people, especially children, who truly suffer from from cancer and fight it ever day......it makes me angrier, just to know that he did this.....personally i think he belongs in jail
i would never, under any circumstances be writing this if i were not 100% sure as to what i am saying.jim has admitted to me also that he lied...ask him, again, and his family who helped him right a long thru all this crap...look him in the eye, say u have proof.....ask for his medical records....i ahve them on me right now as i write this....
wana talk to me? email me...i can back up EVERYTHING i am saying

Although the flier said 80 and older, I drove in and gave it a shot. My 2007 HHR Panel was let in and I saw a bunch of other cars a lot newer than mine. Since the HHR is a truck, I got a shady spot near the center of everything. I was within spitting distance of the DJ, so sound issues are not a problem for me. I don't see why they don't provide a cherry picker like they do for 3D Sound. That is an excellent way to get sound out and not worry about what people do to speakers out of the DJs vision. Food is nasty with a capitol N-A-S-TEE. I was smelling some good grille smells but obviously it wasn't coming from the food vendors near me. Kent's Big bars are good, but you can't eat ice cream only. Saw some friends I ain't seen in a while and even though I made no money, I really enjoyed the day. The featured model was Impala and there was a nice selection of them to see. One lonely 61 Biscayne was amongst them to give one some perspective of the difference. My faves were the 65 Marlin, stock Vega, the two Subaru 360s in the corral, the diesel powered 48 Chevy pickup, 59 Imperial, Pacer, MGB, Spitfire, Fiat 850, a black and green El Camino, 63 Buick hearse, 68 Wildcat.

Plenty of junk for sale and a few new national vendors were there too.

Any car that has no registration, no license plate, is not legal to drive on state roadways,
has no exhaust, should not be best in show. No interior, what about all the cars that spent
10 thousand or more for there interiors? You make an exception for no interior?

A show this size that has a huge area designated for trailer parking, should have a class or classes
specifically for these trailer queen's. For some reason these judges look at the chrome and paint and
forget that these cars do not drive to the shows, get road grime and bugs, let alone the stone chips
from driving. They roll them out of there trailers and don't have to spend the hour or two prepping
the car.

I've stated before that I would gladly travel for a judged show. I put on 140 miles for a 1 minute
judge job. The judge never made it to the back of the car.

Count me out for next year.

We arrived fairly early and
were greeted by show organizers and other participants. For a small show the selection and quality of cars were nice. Show seemed well organized and club did a decent job of running the show. With over 100 cars in attendance and only one judge, I thought he did an incredible job. Incidently I was parked next to the 58 Pontiac Boneville which was awarded with the best of show. I have checked out this car before, and it is really nice. It got my pick for BEST OF SHOW.

I believe there is some discrepancies in the other postings as I received a plaque for "BEST GM" for my blue and white 55 BelAir HT.

I do agree with other postings that it is hard for older cars to compete with recently manufactured vehicles. Event organizers need
to address this with classes for the new stuff. It is not the judges fault, he calls them as he see's them, and they usually are super clean.

About 12 blocks of College Avenue is closed to all traffic, and all cars are cleared from the Avenue at 3:00 PM. At 4:00, only pre-1980 show cars are allowed enter and are diagonally parked up and down the show field. The Avenue is then opened for the general public at 6:00 PM and the show runs until 10:00 PM. Over 400 cars and literally thousands of spectators attend this event. If you have not experienced the "Cruise," you are missing out on a really cool and unique Wisconsin collector car experience. Although some rain put a slight damper on this year's cruise, the crowd was still large and thoroughly enjoyed viewing the cars. You can learn more about the cruise by clicking here... http://www.octoberfestonline.org/license.cfm

It will be better next year with music and possible attractions. I would like to comment on the winners or the Best of's we had. I will list the winning vehicles: Best of Show: 1958 Pontiac Bonneville, Best Ford: 2007 Mustang Roush 427, Best Mopar: 2004 Dodge Viper, Best GM: 1968 Olds Cutlass Convertible, Best Pontiac: 1968 Firebird. Yes we did have 2 newer cars win but these cars were very high quality. We are not biased towards older cars but are for all cars regardless of the money spent. Next year we will have more classes aimed at the increasing number of cars newer than 1986. This will not eliminate the possibility of a new car winning Best of Show but will help the '86 and newer crowd break away from the older cars. We are all car people, please don't let politics get in the way. Every car that attends is a winner for the Dane County Food Pantries whom we contribute too.

Sincerely,
Sheldon
