nice grass not hot blacktop. Come early to get by trees
Class Organization
spread all over but not really a problem no pushy parking people Classes should be rearanged a bit for stock cars.
Trophies & Prizes
seemed ok I dont pay much attention to the awards normal type doorprizes
Food
now I did not have to wait in a line. I must have been lucky Great burger fair pricing
Entertainment
XM sattilite with just some anouncements in between no DJ trying to be cute. Wish more shows would go to this.
Judging
this is where I think they dropped the ball. If they dont have the staff to take time to judge all cares equally they should go to participant voting
Dash Plaque
hey there free who am I to complain except mine is from 2007 and I was the 18th car there.
Variety of Cars

Bathrooms

Weather

Entry Fee
average 10 bucks ..cheap day out,
This was a nice show. It must have been the weather everyone was friendly and chatting. Music was 50's and enjoyable. It was nice not to listen to some DJ trying to be funny or on a soap box. More shows could go this route with the XM music.Food was a notch above the normal cardboard fair normally served real hamburger hamburgers. The club needs to get more flyers out. If it was not for this website I would not have known about it and would have missed one of the more enjoyable shows that I have attended. A 9 out of 10 in my book. Will be back for sure.
Great location, well organized, nice trophies, saw some new cars, but the classes needed to be broken up really bad. Brand new cars right off the showroom floor do not deserve to compete against 20 year old cars and win! Ill be back.....
You could park where you wanted, I was lucky to get a shady spot.
Class Organization
None, cars were scattered.
Trophies & Prizes
I felt there were a lot of cars deserving to win that didn't.
Food
The line for the food inside the fire dept was long, so we walked across the street to Culvers.
Entertainment
The music was good, they had an XM reciever hooked up to the PA system.

This was my first time at this show, there were a lot of good things and there were some things they could work on for next year. The weather was great, the selection of cars were great, and the day really went by quick.
When I got there and had to choose a class, I asked a guy in the SRC what class I should go in because my original 87 Olds can't compete against a brand new Challenger. I asked if Special interest was a better place for me and he said yes. Then, the same guy judged my car and spent about 32.6784 seconds judging it. It wasn't just my car either, there were many cars I didn't see get the time with a judge they deserved. I wasn't really impressed with this, but I will give the benefit of the doubt and state that I only saw two judges the whole day. The SRC are a small club but they should try to get a bit more help for next year.
My recommendations for this show would be to break up the stock classes a bit more, add a unrestored/survivor class, a muscle car class, and new muscle class (mustangs, camaros, challengers). As I said before, IMO there were many vehicles deserving of an award that didn't get the credit due i.e. Marshall's buddy Dick with the '62 Impala.
Congrats to circletrack & DDHemi on there wins today!!!
Park where you want, first ones there got the shade.
Class Organization
Typical classes, many cars in certain classes.
Trophies & Prizes
Nice trophies.
Food
Good burgers.
Entertainment
Music was clear and easy to hear.
Dash Plaque
Kind of a plain Jane, black and white.
Variety of Cars
Nice variety of cars of all eras.
Bathrooms
Adequate for this show.
Weather
Perfect, about time in this pathetic climate.
Trophy Presentation Timing
On time and went quick.
Entry Fee
Typical for car shows these days.
A nice relaxing day with a very good turnout. Nice to see after last year's show was rained out. One of the judges was rude about not filling out the form, I can't help it if I am illiterate.
Lots of door prizes given throughout the day, nice awards
Food
The Fire Department was selling hamburgers, hot dogs and such. I know when we went in there was quite a line waiting to get food as they couldn't keep up. Good food!
Entertainment
You could hear the DJ this year, he played a variety of music and wasn't overwhelming
Judging
I know they are always looking for more members and judges. They seemed to do a good job with 100+ cars!
Dash Plaque
Plain, nothing special
Variety of Cars
Excellent! Many I've seen before and some new ones.
Bathrooms
Portables outside and you were welcome to use the ones in the fire station. More TP was needed! ;)
Weather
Perfect! Finally!
Trophy Presentation Timing
They started right at 3 and kept it moving, unlike other years. I appreciate this.
Entry Fee
$10 which is normal. The guys collecting the money were less than friendly, not too sure what was up with that.
Nice show, an improvement over years past! The food, door prizes, and selection of cars was nice. This was the first "real" show of 2009 for us, and many others. The weather finally cooperated.
Congrats to all the winners today, I was surprised to take hardware home! :)
