Parking Location Easy to find a spot due to the cool, cloudy weather.
Class Organization No classes
Trophies & Prizes QSL Management pic's, didn't hear what all won.
Food The food sucks. Not sure what it is, but I get sick every time I eat there.
Entertainment Dude with a piano + karaoke = bring your own paper bag to puke in.
Dash Plaque I don't remember getting a dash plaque last year, but the one I got last night was nice
Variety of Cars Seen some new stuff.
Bathrooms Clean, which is nice for the amount of time I spent in there...
Weather Could be a bit warmer, but its early yet!
Entry Fee No entry fee and a 10% card

Always a nice place to go on Thursday nights for a cruise. From now on I'll eat at home before I head over, I think I've learned my lesson. Beers are expensive, so I'll stick to soda and iced tea.

Parking Location WIde open, grassy fields
Class Organization Only a handful of classes. I'll elaborate more later...
Trophies & Prizes Really cool awards!
Food Typical car show fare, burgers, brats, hot dogs, etc.
Entertainment 3D Sound featuring Dave Palmer
Judging Um....
Dash Plaque Average show plaque
Variety of Cars Over 1000 registered cars!!!
Bathrooms Plenty of facilites
Weather Pretty darn good all day
Trophy Presentation Timing Ahead of schedule (from what I was told) and kept moving
Entry Fee $10 with a car, but $6 per person as a spectator

This was my first time attending this show, and overall for the size its very nice. In the stock hi-performance cars, I saw the judges only judge two cars in this class. There were some upset people who brought there complaints to the attention of the show staff, and they must have made an impact as I saw the judges come out later and during the awards give 7 trophies in that class.

3D Sound was there with Dave P. at the helm, and he did an awesome job. He know's how to keep the ball rolling!

This show is a great way to end the summer season, I'll definately be back again next year!!!

Parking Location Half of the car lot was used for the show
Class Organization for the amount of cars, they didn't have enough classes - see below
Trophies & Prizes Two awards per class + a best of show
Food Brats only, we went to the Olive Garden next door and had all you can eat soup for 5.99
Entertainment I might not be Paul McCartney, but let's just say I'm glad I didn't pay a cover charge to see this band. I think the newest song they played was the Friday Song!
Judging Participant judged
Dash Plaque It was nice, but basic with the dealer's logo on it.
Variety of Cars Saw lots of new cars I've never seen before
Bathrooms Very nice indoor facilities
Weather excellent weather again!
Trophy Presentation Timing a little behind but not bad. They also did a good job of keeping it moving!
Entry Fee $5, can't b*tch about that!

This was OK show. There were plenty of cars there, some I had never seen at other shows. My favorite was the 70 Chevelle SS that had the RamJet 502 under the hood!

The classes should be revisited for next year. With a show this size, you really cant put all GM and Mopar together in there manufacturer's class, they should at least be broken up stock from modified. I also think the Mustang classes could be dropped and break up the Ford classes by years - since this is held by a Ford dealership I feel it would be acceptable. To be honest, I think there was more GM sheetmetal in the parking lot than there was Ford, must be a Janesville thing :)

I also had a pleasant conversation with an elderly gentleman today. He and I talked about his daughter, who I guess is quite fascinated with me and my opinions... ;)

Best of Show went to a very nice Merc that didn't have the hood popped all day. Not sure if they were afraid to have the hood open on there car because it was Chevy Powered or what, but it wasn't my vote for BOS. I voted for the 70 Chevelle SS!

Parking Location On the beach, in the shade.
Class Organization Overall good, but as this show grows they will need to get more classes.
Trophies & Prizes Very nice trophies
Food Bland, however there was fruit cups for breakfast and pie for dessert!!!
Entertainment Dave from 3D
Judging Lots of cars, I give the judges credit because I wouldn't want there job!
Dash Plaque Large and full of artwork
Variety of Cars 525 was the count I heard
Bathrooms Very nice indoor facilities available
Weather Another beautiful day!
Trophy Presentation Timing This was late, which is understandable with the amount of cars. But the DJ's shouldn't have had participants come up if they werent done.
Entry Fee $10

Overall a great show. Plenty of cars and trucks, and a lot of hardwork is put into this. Wouldn't want to be a judge at this one, too much competition to have to be judge and jury on!!!

Congrats to MMRJR, circletrack, Eclipse_Tuner, and DDHemi on there win's!

Parking Location Beautiful and huge grassy lawn with plenty of space!
Class Organization Classes were well organized for a show this size.
Trophies & Prizes Huge "best of" trophies, some taller than those who won them!!!
Food Excellent BBQ's, Starbucks coffee, muffins, and cookies!
Entertainment Well 'lookie here'..... Didn't hear any Megadeth or Ozzy today (insert sarcascm smily here)
Judging Participant Judged show
Dash Plaque Very nice!
Variety of Cars Many from that area and many I've never seen before.
Bathrooms There were a few porta potties, but you could also use the church's facilities if needed.
Weather It wasn't bad when the sun poked thru the clouds, but other than that it felt like October.
Trophy Presentation Timing Earlier than what is posted on there flyer. The DJ and the staff did a good job of keeping the awards moving.
Entry Fee $10

This was my first time attending this show and I have to say that I am very impressed!!! They said during the awards this has been the biggest turnout in the years that they've put this on with 160 cars. I cruised down this morning with Amigo2k and DDHemi and it was a nice drive. Saw a lot of cars you don't see at many of the local shows too. The food was excellent, the area for the show is amazing, and every one on the show staff was very knowledgeable and helpful.

The only snafu was during registration and when you had to get your voting ballot - The women at the tent were aware of the issue and were working on it on-the-spot.

This is definately a show I will attend again next year, and I would encourage anyone else to do so, especially if you've never been to this show before!!!

Congrats to DDHemi, MMRJR, and Marshall's buddy Dick with the Impala on there 1st place class awards!! Also congrats to Cuda Man, who won the Committee's choice award. Bruce and Kathy Stewart won Best of Show, congrats to them. Not only did that best of show trophy stand taller than Bruce and Kathy both, but I'm 6 ft tall and it stood taller than me!!! Also got to throw props to my sweetie, affectionately nicknamed Ms. Moparkid, on her class award today with her Impala. Not only did she get a cool trophy, she gets a big old kiss from me too!!!

Parking Location Nice blacktop parking lot
Class Organization Lots of classes and very well designated
Trophies & Prizes It appeared even the 3rd place trophy was over a foot tall
Food I've had better at this show before...
Entertainment Eh, same DJ playing the same doo-wop year after year. I think I'll invest in an iPod for next years show...
Judging Participant judging
Dash Plaque and it even had a cool car on it this year!
Variety of Cars Plenty of Mopars, but they also have an all-makes class for stock and modified
Bathrooms One porta potty was "Out of Order" because it was plugged. Things that make you go Hmm....
Weather Couldn't have had a better weekend for shows!
Trophy Presentation Timing They were a little behind as usual, but they did a good job of keeping it moving
Entry Fee $10

This was overall a pretty good show, it was a great day to be outside and there were plenty of awesome cars to see everywhere.

I only have a few recommendations:
-I don't really want to hear the lazy cub scouts getting yelled at by there parents when I'm buying lunch from them. I hear yelling 40+ hours a week, and Sundays are a no-yelling day.
-More porta-potties are needed, especially if someone is going to clog one up. Don't ask me how it was done, but it was closed off to the public and had and Out of Order sign on it. You are legendary in my book to accomplish this, I mean, who clogs a PP?!
-I know there is a lot of classes at this show, but I would recommend to find a better way to get the votes tallied up so the awards are on time. This has been an issue since I started attending this show in '03. I did like how they did the 50/50 and other raffles before the awards. They also gave out the Best of's before the class awards which was different.

There were kids going around selling Schwan's Ice Cream bars for a buck, and they were delicious!!!

Best of Show stock went to a yellow 70 AAR Cuda. Nonetheless a very nice car, but my pick was the white 71 Challenger that was a fully loaded 318 car still sporting the whitewalls and hubcaps!!

Congrats to Cuda Man and DDHemi on the wins with the 'Cudas today!!

Being the true-to-heart Mopar guy that I am, I'll be back next year!!!

My hats off to Todd Newton, "Cuda Man", and everyone else who helped make this show a success!!! This is by far one of the best organized shows I have ever been to, and it gets better every year!!! The weather was excellent, the concessions were great, 300+ cars registered, Culvers donated ALL of the awards, and last but not least all of the beautiful cars and trucks in attendance!!!

And who can b*tch about a $5 entry fee for a judged show?!

This is definately a show I will return to. IMO, one of the best shows this year.

Congrats to GTO Man, RivFan, MMRJR, DDHemi, and all of the other forum members on there wins today - they are very well deserved!

This was probably the best QSL night I have attended in a long time. Congrats to RivFan on his '65 Riviera getting one of the nightly picks!!! And Congrats to DDHemi on that new seatcover for his Buick, LOL!

I want to thank everyone who joined the cruise from Mt. Horeb to Middleton. I had a great time, and got to see some awesome cars that stay tucked away in the hills of the trollway. I will definately schedule this again next year! Amigo2k cruised all the way out to MH from Fitchburg just to join up with us to go to Middleton!! I will try to post some pic's that I took at QSL on the site.

Trophies & Prizes Didnt win a door prize, but they all looked pretty nice.
Food Plenty of choices from burgers and brats to porkchops
Entertainment DJ was ok
Judging Non-Judged show
Dash Plaque No dash plaque
Variety of Cars Quite a few I had never seen!
Bathrooms Didn't see any, but for once I didn't have to use one either.
Weather Was a bit overcast when we got there. Left after about 2 hours due to a hail threat.
Trophy Presentation Timing No Awards
Entry Fee Free!!!

This is a very nice show, its unfortunate the weather wasn't cooperative. It was also the first show that not only I took a vehicle, but my dad took his motorcycle as well. And being Brodhead is his hometown it was pretty cool to me seeing my dad show his bike there!!!

But when the threat of inclimate weather came about, I looked at the weather channel on my cell phone and it was not pretty. We just got home and avoided the downpour.

My only recommendation is to consider awards at this show in the future. I understand the weight off one's shoulder's not having to deal with judges, trophies, etc. but with the amount of cars at this show already its definately worth considering. My guess was somewhere between 50-75 cars here.

Either way, I'll definately be back to this show next year!!!
