excellent job and very under-appreciated. Nice job folks!

large and colorful and I got there early enough to get one. I don't stick mine to anything anyway, so I don't care about the lack of adhesive.

Weather
cold breeze, but I dressed for it. I know there are a good portion of people I saw who either don't watch the weather man or didn't believe him.
Trophy Presentation Timing
a little late, but after they worked out the kinks, it moved along well with one person announcing the sponsers and another announcing the winners. Excellent idea guys!

Pardeeville is the one show of the year that ALL my friends agree is the one to go to. With 550 cars, it was the biggest show I attended this summer....pretty impressive for the middle of nowhere in the middle of a state known mostly for cheese and Brett Flip Flop Farve. I absolutely agree with whoever said it might be time for some national attention in Pardeeville. It's just a well run show in a fabulous setting with enthusiastic and appreciatve volunteers, with great food, both canned and live entertainment and multiple events for the kids and spectators and a knowledgable announcer.
Of course none of that would matter at all if the cars weren't unbelievably pristine and diverse. I saw more Cudas in one place (barring mopar only events) than ever before in recent memory.
And, as always, I'm more impressed with the appreciation shown by spectators and staff than any thing else. For me this far outweighs the minor inconveniences like waiting in line to pee or waiting for the awards to start. The fact that several of the staff stopped me on the way out to say something nice about my car was the icing on my cake (maybe not the guy behind me though...sorry).
Vicki, your enthusiasm is infectious...PTL. But, please rent a few more port-a-potties for next year...cuz I'll be back. Well Done and a Hearty Hi Ho Silver to you and all your staff and volunteers.

I liked this show last year and I still like it. Nice location dovetailed with a crafts fair and a live band makes for great crowds. The weather was great and the show was well thought out and ran smoothly.
The M.O.P.A.R. Ltd. Club put this on and they seemed to be appreciative of mine. I was a little embarrassed to win Best in Class and Best Mopar, I guess they just followed the voting strictly and didn't bump people out of the class if they were up for two trophies. I wish they would have given the 2nd place winner in my class the win and just let me take the Mopar award. That happened with the Ford (I think)Class too. I can only assume they just faithfully followed the voting and let the chips fall where they may. I hope that didn't piss anyone off and I hope Dave reads this and changes the procedure for next year.
Needless to say, good weather, good friends, live music, appreciative crowd, great cars....I'll certainly be back.
OK.. I like to see dedicted classes for vettes, stangs, T-birds etc, but that's just my tastes

Spring green was a bit of a hike for me, but the weather promised to be nice, everyone had good things to say about it, and I figured what the heck. It was a 1st rate car show..400 cars..shady streets..awesome food choices..awesome cars..and even though I don't care for "participant judging", SG had it figured out right...it was even color coded so I didn't go nuts trying to find the stuff I was supposed to vote on. That was a very nice touch.
The staff was appreciative and very helpful.
Nice weather, nice show, pleasant drive out there, won my class and some staff thanked me for coming. What more can I say... A+
I'll be back.

I was dreading the weather (forecast) for this show all week. It was supposed to be 90 degrees, full sun and high humidity. As it turned out, the overcast skies kept the temps in the high 70's and even though it was humid, there was a nice breeze most of the day. The rain had done it's damage to the parking area the night before. There were some pretty muddy spots.
All in all, you never know what to expect at a Chamber of Commerce's Choice type show because you never know what kind of cars the people are partial to, but I will say even though the choices were completely subjective, I thought most of the deserving cars (and by that I mean clean and detailed regardless of make and model)won some category or other. Obviously, not all, but most.....sorry Mike.
At least everyone knew it wasn't a judged show and the winners might very well be capricious...so fair enough.
The show organizers and staff seemed to have things under control. They seemed appreciative of the cars and drivers.
The entertainment was appropriate and not too loud. How refreshing.
I don't drink coffee, but it was all over the place, I'm sure. And I didn't eat there, so I can't speak to the quality or variety, but I'm sure nobody starved to death either.
Great day, great friends, great cars and I'll be back.
A wet morning made the event iffy. Maybe a bit fewer cars than in the past due to weather, but still a good turn out and bunch of great cars showed up.
Plenty of foot traffic due to the Riverfest crowd. Crowd and Staff were very appreciate of the cars.
Plenty to do and eat.
A great show, I'll be back.

There were 88 cars..probably down from last year since the first 100 were supposed to get dash plaques. It was a bit cloudy during the morning with a chance of thunderstorms, which probably held the attendance down a bit....plus I've been noticing that all the car shows are down in attendance from last year...and I'm absolutely sure that is due to the economy/unemployment right now.
The club members running the show were knowledgeable and appreciative of the cars that showed up...always nice to be appreciated.
The judging was by participants and to me that is always a giant crap shoot....but hey, it is what it is. It gives some people a chance to win that wouldn't otherwise get the chance from judges. And usually a clean, well presented car is voted top marks over some one's "hey that's just like my mother's cousin's boyfriend's friend's old so and so kind of car, so let's vote for that one".......but not always. And at least you know it going in, it wasn't a secret.
Great weather, great friends, good food I'm told and a well run show. I'll be back.
after the rain went thru..it was great. nice breeze all day
Trophy Presentation Timing
on time..took awhile though with all those trophies

The morning was supposed to get rained out, but the rain stopped and the roads dried out by about 8 am. After that slightly late start about 450 cars showed up (slightly down from the previous year..due to rain I'm sure). The park was well marked and the parking was a smooth operation if a little wet.
Proceeds went to the Fire Department and it was obvious that these guys have done this before. It looked like all the kinks of a show this size had been worked out long ago. Congrats to Tony P. and all of his staff and judges.
There were several vendors and a seperate car corral. Cash was given away after the awards and even the spectators got a shot at $150.
There was even a couple of burn out contests and an exhaust noise contest I wasn't forced to stay for because they were after the main awards ceremony....what a good idea...especially for those of us that do our burn outs right before staging at a track.
Anyway, I was marveling all day long what a nice show this was, what a good mix of music was being played, how well the announcer kept us informed without being intrusive, how big the crowds eventually became, how appreciative and curteous the staff and judges seemed to be and how great the weather was and then I won a Best in Class....nothing but gravy for me man.
I think this was the best show I've been to all year. I'll certainly be back.

I've been going to Cindy Lou's for a couple of years now and I have yet to have a bad experience (except a few mosquitos). Steve, the guy that runs the thing is always around to welcome you and get pictures of the cars and hand out ballots, door prize tickets and info placards. There is no charge for anything except the food and that is well worth the money. Somehow financially, they give a trophy every week all summer long and one big one at the end of the season (all the fan favorites compete against each other on that last week) as well as generous door prizes every week. Since I'm sort of new to car shows and cruise in's, I thought most cruise in's were run this way. Ha did I get spoiled?? After venturing forth to some other local places I found just how nice Waterloo's Cindy Lou's really is in comparison.
I've made a bunch of new friends there, it's close, foods good, everyones' pretty friendly and the guy that runs it appreciates the fact that you drove your car there to show it. Doesn't get any better than that.. especially for free!!
Even though I've won my trophy and don't compete anymore until the end, I find myself going back every Thursday just to see the other cars, enjoy the ambiance and make more friends.
