Need more variety. Perhaps have the church do it as a fund raiser.

Laptop/itunes works well, but needs a larger playlist.

Its a bummer that the National Guard isnt involved in this one anymore, however the 20 yr old kid who took over the show did a great job for his first time.
Things to do for next year: Larger playlist, advertise earlier and at more shows (footwork is key), talk to more vendors and suppliers to get prizes, trophey budget, etc.
We had a good time at the show. The only thing I was quite disappointed by was that my airbrushing artwork was censored. As an artist that is my number 1 pet peeve to say the least. A car show is a lot like an art gallery...neither of which should ever be censored.
Convertibles - all years lends its self to comparing apples to oranges.
Trophies & Prizes
Nice door prizes, plaque quality could have been better, but I've seen worse.
Food
Disorganized food vendor

It was an ok show. Judging seemed a little disorganized, and no way to tell if your car was judged or not. But other than that, not a bad show for only its second year.
Music was from Sirius radio...worked great, Im thinking the days of dj's are numbered.
Trophy Presentation Timing
Was moved to 1:45 due to weather, good call.
It was an ok show considering the weather. The classes are less than great with no good breakdown of stock vs custom (custom class was all years, all makes and models), not to mention the huge 1970-Present class.
Ashley finally got a trophy for her Z, so she was pretty excited.
The show kinda sprawls, so if you show up late, you end up in the middle of nowhere.
Class Organization
Ths one gets interesting...They have tons of well thought out classes, but it doesn't do any good when they don't enforce or uphold them.
Trophies & Prizes
Nice range of special awards.
Food
Typical food, had guys on atvs serving beer and soda.
Entertainment
DJ was so-so. Had a habit of talking over the songs.
Judging
Not bad, but not great. There were a lot of judges that seemed very clueless or just didnt care.
Dash Plaque
Average.
Variety of Cars
There were over 400 cars there from all genres.
Bathrooms
2 sets of buildings and scattered portapotties.
Weather
A bit windy, but nice overall.
Trophy Presentation Timing
Poorly organized. Went fast, but couldnt hear, and was very disorganized.
Entry Fee
$10 average.
This show could have huge potential. Its a nice venue at an easy to reach location. However there are some pretty rediculous flaws for a show of this size:
1. If you have classes for certain vehicles, then the cars should be in those specific classes. Examples: A Belair winning a trophy in a Stock 50's class even though there was a specific class just for Belairs. Cars that were very very customized being allowed in stock classes.
2. If the rules state no more than one trophy per car except for participant, mayor, or firechief choice, then that should be followed. Example: The car that recieved best interior also received a class trophy and the best overall custom award.
3. Judges...if the judge doesnt know cars or know a class genre, then they have no business judging. The interior judge was seemingly only interested in fabric and stitchings. The paint judge was only interested in exterior paint and wouldnt look inside even when invited to.
Its a pretty good show, but the few issues it has are pretty big issues.
Was a solid show even though the weather sucked. Its put on by a really good group, and its nice to see a club thats traditionally old school hot-rod actually respect tuner style.
And Im still amazed that a 160 lb guy could eat 12 footlong brats....
