I was just wondering.

On one of the other forums that I frequent (Vintage Mustang Forums, VMF), a poster was ranting and raving about buying and selling on craigslist. Low and behold, I find that we have one here locally.

I found a 1967 Ford Galaxie convertible in Montello that I have taken an interest in. Allowing for the seller to contact me this weekend, I plan to drive up and take a look at it.

I haven't spent alot of time on craigslist, but so far, I am pretty impressed with what I have seen.

The listing for the 68 was posted by 70boss. That is our old car friend out in Spring Green. I beleive this one is also posted on ebay. It may even be sold by now. Did you find the listing for the 1967 Galixie Convertible in Montello?

I found the ad Marshall. That looks like an interesting car. Sounds like it has a 390 in it now, but it also comes with a 428. Is the 390 the original engine? I have always like those Galaxy's. They were very sharp, and being a convertible makes it all the more desireable.

I put my wifes prelude on it a couple of year back, but I didn't get very many hits.

But this past summer I put up an old chair and an old oak table and sold it in a couple of days.

I have also purchased a new ipod (from a student), and a 4 high solid oak filing cabinet from craigslist too.

great place to get ride of some junk, before you toss it or give it to goodwill....
