Wisconsin Collector Car welcomes everyone to post on the forum. The forum is a place for everyone to discuss and debate topics and share information and love of the hobby. A few rules apply to each post made on the forum: - Respect the viewpoints of others
- Offer constructive criticism, not destructive or hurtful criticism
- No flaming. Personal attacks will not be tolerated
- No personal attacks on others' vehicles. Everyone works hard on their cars
Please follow these rules to make the Wisconsin Collector Car Forum a fun, lively place where everyone feels comfortable and welcome. Remember that different people view the Internet differently. Some see it as a completely anonymous place where they post whatever they want. Others see it as a personal extension of themselves. For this reason, please treat every post you make as something that would be said face-to-face to others. Any posts that violate the above rules will be edited by the moderators, who will make all efforts to contact the poster for corrections before editing. Everyone's opinion is of course respected, but hurtful comments will be removed. When such a post is encountered by the moderators, the follow steps will be enacted: - The moderators will contact the poster with a copy of the post, citing the issue with the post and requesting that the poster edit their post to still reflect their opinion, but in a way that does not violate the rules.
- The moderators will determine the nature of the offensive post. In extreme cases, it may be necessary to remove the text temporarily. In most cases, the text will be left intact for the original author to edit
- Once a new version of the post has been created by the author and no longer violates the rules, it will be reposted either by the original author or a moderator
Questions and comments regarding these rules can be posted on the forum in this topic or sent as a PM to any of the moderators. More information can be found on the Legal Page. |
