I left home about 7am and drove the 60 mile drive to Francis Creek with another Valley Cruiser. We arrived early and had my choice of blacktop locations. I usually choose blacktop over grass on these cool fall shows.
Bolle's and Woody's are a bar and auto body shop. The proceeds go to the youth sports program in there area.
There were plenty of raffles where young ladies walked through the cars selling numbered paddles. With some super nice prizes including a pair of Packer tickets. Lots of auto trivia prizes by the DJ & a 50/50 also. The Badger game was on inside the bar.
As always they had great burgers & Sheboygan Brats with bakery buns for $2.50. Car Owner Expense Friendly and they were good. I had two. But in my defense I didn't think I would get another great brat until next years Sheboygan show, and the first one was breakfast.
Because of the threat of rain, many cars stayed home. About 90 cars showed so down about 30 to 40 cars from last year. There were a lot of fine automobiles and I'm sure the judges had some tough decisions. From what I saw they did a great job.
The trophies were nice sized with heavy marble bases and three huge ones for peoples choice, raffle girls choice and judges choice.
A very well run show for a good cause, good food at reasonable prices and lots of fine cars. Whats not to like?
Saw some old friends and made some new. Talked to a lot of car people on a rainy and cool day. That's what it's all about, for me.
We had a good time and will be back. Hope to see you there next year.
