I could go on about all the ala carte crap we all dealt with aside of the show, but I won't.
This is a good show. Again this year, the slack jawed yokel parking cars pissed me off Saturday morning when I got there. Happens every time. Getting in and leaving is a bit of a hassle due to the amount of cars. When leaving, I actually got out of my car, walked up to an older couple in their car, and asked them if they would let me and DDHemi ahead of them with our cars. Not only did they say yes, but they thanked me for asking. I must be getting polite in my old age... I really didn't have a bad time this year, but the atmosphere outside the show will likely keep me away next year. That and the pollen made for a weekend fighting allergies.

There appears to be some confusion and organizational issues on the part of the Wisconsin Dells Visitors Bureau, who seem to be running this show now, with the assistance of the local Cruisers Car Club. Quite frankly, I don't think the WDVB has a clue as to what they are doing. Just my two cents worth on this topic. Example - at reqistration, I was told that if I was not coming back on Sunday (I was there on Saturday only) that my vehicle would not be judged. In reality, I didn't know that this was a judged show, and I didn't see any stickers on any vehicles on Saturday.
Also, After 9AM, it is near impossible to get from the Dells Parkway area into the Noah's Ark area. It has become necessary to travel into the Noah's Ark area off of Highway A from Baraboo and work through the lodges and resorts area to even get close to Noah's Ark, if you want to get into the show.
And tellingly, I saw very few Illinois licenses plates on the show cars and trucks, probably fewer that a dozen vehicles or so. This was Saturday, and I didn't go back on Sunday.
I have skipped this show for several years, and after this years underwhelming show, I will probably skip it again for a few years.
